During our lifetimes, I think there are moments when we are very pleased with ourselves. We have a new dress or suit and know we look good. We are certain that lives have been changed by our words of wisdom. We have won the race -- found the cure.

Some of us are lucky enough to have many of these moments; for others, they are rare, but we all have them. These special moments are what I am attempting to portray in my work.
